JPG and PNG were designed decades ago. Modern formats like WebP and AVIF offer dramatically better compression \u2014 meaning smaller files at the same quality. Google’s PageSpeed Insights now explicitly recommends serving images in next-gen formats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
